Cows milk, Goats milk and Coconut milk
Our goat milk supreme soap is handmade with not only goat milk, but also with coconut milk and cow milk for a gourmet milk soap experience. Remember hearing about the Cleopatra’s milk baths? Women have always instinctively known that milk in soap provides extra moisturizing qualities and a creaminess that can't be matched with just oils.
Cow milk, Milk based soaps have recently been rediscovered, largely due to the current research on milk proteins that is teaching consumers about the way skin benefits from contact with whey protein and lactic acid. Lactic acid helps smooth skin by exfoliation, and milk also contains Vitamins A and D, whose benefits include giving skin strength and suppleness.
Goat milk contains caprylic acid, which helps with the removal of dead skin cells and has the same ph as human skin. Soap that does not contain goat milk often has a high pH value, thereby, making the skin feel tight, dry, and itchy after use. The correct pH makes soap more compatible with skin, helping to protect skin and allowing skin cells to breathe as they should. Goat milk is a natural source of alpha-hydroxy acid. Studies have suggested that these acids can rejuvenate skin. And, goat milk is naturally high in vitamins, minerals, and proteins that nourish the skin.
Coconut milk, who doesn't love the sweet and juicy scent of coconut milk? Coconut milk is abundant with proteins and fatty acids that literally nourish your skin. A natural skin rejuvenator that gently defoliates and removes impurities without drying sensitive skin. Softens and provides moisture and suppleness to the skin as it enriches skin texture and tone.
